SEATTLE –Moneytree was named winner in the Best Companies to Work For contest by Seattle Business
Magazine during the awards ceremony on June 25, 2009. This is the second consecutive year Moneytree has been
named the winner in the large company category.
The Best Companies to Work For awards honor the top 100 companies in the state of Washington and is open to
all for-profit and nonprofit organizations in the state. Companies are ranked in four company size categories:
Nonprofit/Government (any size), Small-Sized Companies (under 100 employees), Medium-Sized Companies
(100-499 employees) and Large-Sized Companies (500 employees or more).
To compile this year’s list of the top 100 Companies to Work For, Seattle Business Magazine anonymously
surveyed employees on such criteria as communication, training, responsibility and decision making, performance
standards, rewards and recognition, benefits, leadership, work environment, hiring and retention, and corporate
culture. Moneytree received high marks across all of these categories, but received noteworthy praise for its
quality benefits package, retirement and profit sharing plan and leadership.
